The last Monday

How nostalgic...the last Monday training before the real big thing-Nationals,which start officially this Friday. All the best to everyone taking part-sprinters,runners,jumpers,throwers...you guys can do it! :)

A very happy birthday to dearest Miss Ng. Many thanks to your everlasting patience and coaching througout the entire training seasons for both cross country and track. Your endless faith placed in me(despite starting off really slow and CMI) in hoping I can improve is greatly appreciated. :)

Helped out in the Saucony packing of the goodie bags(not so 'goodie' after how we mercilessly crushed and shoved them into oh-too-small boxes and plastic bags, lol) for the Saucony Run on 8th July,in return for their generous(really?) sponsorships for our track suits and pants and shoes and jerseys and all the track paraphernalia. Back-breaking it was, despite having the trackers, the soccer guys and soccer girls helping out. The target was 3000 bags, but boy,it seemed waaay more than that. There were many people helping out in putting all the little items into the bags, but there was serious lack of people doing the shoving and back-breaking task of packing the finished bags into boxes to be loaded into the waiting truck. As a result,we ended up with two mountains of black bags stacked so high you can't see any standing person on the other side. Oh,and poor Kuan Ren's shoe was buried under a pile, which took us some effort to extricate it,lol. All in all, great job guys. Looking forward to another sweaty time packing stuff together! :)

*sighs* We have school tomorrow...which means lessons and more work! *sighs*
