Thrills and spills...

Crazy things that a bunch of crazy teens would do on a boring Saturday night just right after the much-dreaded mid-year exams: Seek thrills and adrenaline rushes in the form of spooks in the old Changi Hospital-again. Well, for Kenji,Hansen and me that is. The rest were new-comers...welcome aboard guys!

We reached at nearly 8 plus, armed with four torchlights to be shared among 7 people(notice the odd number?lol),with one guy dressed in red...The pace was relatively faster this time,as Kenji was more familiar with the layout of the entire hospital grounds. We went exploring the upper stories of the buildings which we have never went before, the first being the one where we heard doors slamming when the building was completely void of doors(maybe hallucinations eh? But 8 people hallucinating at the same time...? Maybe it's something else yeah?). The next building was the one where Kenji and Louis saw "something humanoid",but much to our dismay,it was partially sealed up and guarded by surprisingly new security cameras that were not there the last time we came. Seems like they have some good reason to keep us out... :/

Onto the main building, where the most creepy thing happened. We were somewhere on the upper floors when we all heard music-piano playing to be exact. No kidding. It was loud and clear, and had this reverberating effect throughout the entire empty interior. Boy,you should have been there to witness the initial reactions! "Do you guys hear...?" "Is it me or what..." "It's coming from the chalet laaah." "Oh my god..." "No,it's coming from the lower level!" "Can we keep moving please?! Please!!" "It's the chalet!" "Down there, below us..." "Okay, okay don't panic, stay together..." "Really from the chalet lah, don't freak us out can?" "Listen to the era of the music! Why would chalets be playing music like that?" The last comment was really kinda freaky(from Kenji,of course, the fearless dude). He was right,it was an oldie,to be exact,a British oldie, and the creepy part came when there was the sound of this high-pitched woman singing. Game over man! The atmosphere was seriously tense at that moment, but thank goodness nobody ran off screaming or panicking, and we just kept our voices low(well, almost all of us,lol) when arguing about the issue. We eventually concluded it came from the chalet, but whatever it was,we just tried top get the hell(oops, sounds wrong, haha) out of there.

The next stop was the real mortuary. The one we supposedly went the other time wasn't the one, according to Kenji's extensive research, and it was this small inconspicuos building by the side of the main building, which can only hold "four corpses at one time". It was rather accurate, for we saw four platforms aligined side by side, with little drainage canals separating each platform, supposedly for the blood to drain away. *shudders* Many pictures were taken by Edwin the brave PhotoSoc member donning the bright red shirt. But the bravest feat was accomplished by(drumroll please...) none other than Kenji the Fearless, who climbed up this really uninviting ladder by the side of the building and took a picture of whatever lies up there(not keen to know...). Man,you are gutsy in a crazy way,I'm so glad you came back in one piece! :)

Great adventure overall, left many of us wanting for more! Next stop, some cemetery? Give me a call guys,I'm all game for it!

Ps.The music was really from the chalet...after we went to ask the people there. Seems like they were celebrating some bloke's birthday...but with THAT song? Hmmm...
